Black plastic pipework in conductive PE-EL with earthing straps and ball valve in an industrial plant

Plastic piping in PE, PP and PE-EL.

We fabricate and install piping in polyethylene, polypropylene and electrically conductive PE-EL up to 110 mm diameter. Corrosion-free, chemically resistant, and welded rather than glued.

Services · Plastic piping

What we use plastics for

01

Cooling and process water

lines that must not rust.

02

Chemicals and waste water

acids, alkalis and contaminated water.

03

Exhaust air and venting

carrying corrosive vapours away safely.

04

Ex zones

PE-EL dissipates electrostatic charge.

Materials

Medium, temperature and environment decide which plastic fits. We work with three materials.

FeaturePlastic piping
PE (polyethylene)tough and impact-resistant, for water, cooling water, waste water
PP (polypropylene)higher temperature resistance, good chemical resistance
PE-ELelectrically conductive PE for potentially explosive areas
Jointwelded, with flanges and adapters to metal
Our installation rangeup to 110 mm diameter

Where plastic reaches its limits, we switch to stainless steel, Hastelloy or PTFE-lined steel, all from one company.

Advantages

Plastic complements metal wherever corrosion is the problem.

  • Corrosion-free — no rust, no deposits.
  • Chemically resistant — to many acids, alkalis and salts.
  • Low weight — simple installation, fewer supports.
  • Metal and plastic from one company — one contact for the whole plant.
Step by step

How we work

  1. Step 01

    Clarification

    medium, temperature, pressure and routing.

  2. Step 02

    Material selection and design

PE, PP or PE-EL, sizing, parts list.

  3. Step 03

    Prefabrication and installation

cutting, welding, installing, earthing for PE-EL.

  4. Step 04

    Pressure test and handover

test report and documentation as agreed.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Which plastics do you work with?

Polyethylene (PE), polypropylene (PP) and electrically conductive polyethylene (PE-EL), each up to 110 mm diameter.

What is PE-EL?

An electrically conductive polyethylene. It dissipates electrostatic charge and is therefore used in potentially explosive areas where standard PE is not permitted.

When plastic, when stainless steel?

Plastic is corrosion-free and light, but limited in temperature and pressure. For high temperatures, high pressures or hygienic requirements we use stainless steel.

Which region do you cover?

Our focus is the Basel region: Basel-Stadt, Basel-Landschaft and the Fricktal. We also work in the rest of north-western Switzerland and in French-speaking Switzerland, for example in Geneva, Lausanne, Fribourg, Neuchâtel and Valais, and in Ticino by arrangement. We speak German and French.

Who do you work with Plastic piping for?

For industrial companies, architects, planners, construction companies and public-sector clients. We do not work for private customers.
