Process lines for acids, alkalis, solvents and intermediates, in the appropriate material.

Industrial piping for the chemical industry in the Basel region.
Since 1988 we have been building process and utility lines for chemical plants in Basel-Stadt, Basel-Landschaft and the Fricktal. Stainless steel, Hastelloy, PTFE-lined or carbon steel, depending on the medium. During ongoing operation and in shutdowns.
What chemical plants get from us
Utility lines for steam, cooling water, compressed air, nitrogen and vacuum.
Modifications for product changeovers, capacity expansion or modernisation of individual plant sections.
Repairs to corroded or damaged sections, including at short notice.
Metalwork for pipe racks, pipe supports, walkways and access structures.

Materials by medium
The chemical industry requires more than one material. We advise on the choice and work with all four:
| Medium | Material |
|---|---|
| Utilities, fuels | Carbon steel |
| Solvents, dilute acids and alkalis | Stainless steel 1.4404 (316L) |
| Chlorides, hot acids, combined loads | Hastelloy |
| Hydrofluoric acid, concentrated hydrochloric acid, chlorine | PTFE-lined steel |
We weld using the TIG, MIG/MAG, stick (MMA) and orbital processes and assign every weld to the welder and the heat, if you order this.
Working on chemical sites
Our fitters have been working on the chemical and pharma sites of the Basel region for years. They know the access procedures, work permits, Ex zones and the safety culture of the operators. We complete site-specific training before the first job. From Pratteln we are on site quickly, including for unplanned repairs.
How a shutdown runs
- Step 01
Preparation weeks in advance
site visit, isometrics, prefabrication of the spools in Pratteln.
- Step 02
Shutdown
dismantling, installation and testing in a tight time window, with our own personnel and, where needed, experienced reinforcement.
- Step 03
Handover
pressure test, documentation, release for commissioning.
