Hygiene and traceability
Pharma lines are welded by the TIG and orbital processes, with root shielding, so that the inside stays smooth and free of oxide. Where required, we inspect the root by borescope and document it photographically. After welding, the welds are pickled and passivated.
Every spool is given a number. Through it, the material certificate, welder, weld log and test result can be traced. You define on our form, when ordering, which documents you receive at the end, in line with your internal quality requirements.
Working on pharma sites
Our staff know the access, hygiene and safety rules of the pharma sites in the Basel region and complete the site-specific training before work begins. We plan the work so that your shutdown window is kept and areas in operation are not affected.

Frequently asked questions
Can you prove the origin of the materials?
Yes. On request we supply material certificates to EN 10204 (3.1 or 3.2) and assign spool numbers, so that every pipe section can be traced to its heat, welder and test result. You define the scope when ordering.
How do you keep the downtime of our plant short?
Through prefabrication in our workshop in Pratteln and installation planning that is coordinated with your shutdown window. From Pratteln, our fitters are on your site quickly.
Do you comply with our site regulations and safety rules?
Yes. Our staff have been working on chemical and pharma sites in the Basel region for years and are familiar with access, safety and hygiene requirements. We complete site-specific training before work begins.
